Contact your elected officials to protest healthcare reform
The final push is on. Obama has had enough of us, he has declared that the debate is over, and he wants his healthcare takeover now. The fortunes of his own party members are of no consequence to him. He is indifferent to months of lagging poll numbers, and citizens' outrage expressed at hundreds of town hall meetings. He violates his own campaign pledges, by engaging in unsavory deal making and influence peddling to sell his healthcare plan. He shrugs off election losses. He dismisses qualitative analyses that prove the folly of his plan. He turns his head away from clear well reasoned arguments proposed by Republicans that refute the claims that he makes about tenets of his plan. Barack Obama will not be deterred from pursuing his foolhardy agenda; he is moving forward come hell or high water.
