Elbridge Dean Gilbert

Elbridge Dean Gilbert of 1243 Lynchburg Avenue, Brookneal, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2006 at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of the late Barbara Jennings Gilbert.
Mr. Gilbert was born in Russellville, TN, September 14, 1924, the son of the late Jake Ott Gilbert and Helen McCawen Gilbert. He is of the Catholic faith; a Army veteran of WWII and a retired employee of Burlington Industries.
He is survived by special friends, Dorothy Martin of Brookneal; Larry and Barbara Martin of Brookneal.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at Providence Baptist Church, Red House, by Mr. Jack Willis.
Henderson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
