Man arrested in school burglary

The Emergency Operations Center received a call Thursday morning around 4:45 a.m. that there was a person running around inside of Woodrow Wilson School on North Main Street.

Danville Police found a man running away from the building.

He was apprehended and identified as Dawan Anthony Glass, 24, of Danville.

Glass had a screwdriver and an office supply item, which came from the school in his possession.

He was charged with burglary, possession of burglary tools and petit larceny.
