Moore receives Fulbright Scholarship

Tunstall High School 2000 graduate Jason K. Moore of the University of California has been awarded a Fulbright U.S. Student Scholarship to Netherlands in Engineering.

Moore has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with minors in mathematics and philosophy from Old Dominion University.

He received a master's degree in mechanical and aeronautical engineering from the University of California at Davis, Calif.

He is presently a Phd candidate in mechanical and aeronautical engineering at the University of California.

He will be doing research in the Netherlands at Delft University of Technology for the 2008-2009 academic year.

Moore is one of more than 1,450 U.S. citizens who will travel abroad for the 2008-2009 academic year through the Fulbright U.S. Student Program which is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
