Woodrow Scott Emerson and Ashley Dawn Hudson

 

The families of Ashley Dawn Hudson and Woodrow Scott Emerson are pleased to announce their engagement.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mark and Beverly Hudson of Motley.

She is the granddaughter of Janie and the late Elmer Hudson of Hurt and Aaron and Pauline Lukin of Lynch Station.

The prospective groom is the son of Woodrow Emerson Jr. of Lynch Station and Sandra Nichols of Gretna. He is the grandson of Rebecca and Roney Brumfield of Gretna and Louise and the late Woodrow Emerson Sr. of Altavista.

The wedding will take place Oct. 18, 2 p.m., at New Prospect Baptist Church, Hurt.

A reception will follow in the family center.

Invitations will be sent to family members and close friends.
