The Times-Virginian, which is owned by Womack Publishing Company and printed on Wednesdays, was founded in 1892. The newspaper's staff is committed to providing fair, accurate, and up-to-date coverage of Appomattox and Campbell County news and events each week.

Editorial

The Times-Virginian welcomes and encourages readers to write letters to the editor on matters of public concern. Letters must be signed with a full name and include the writer's address and telephone number (telephone numbers are used for verification only). Letters may be edited for length, clarity, accuracy, and grammar. The editor has the right to reject any letter. Letters may be mailed, e-mailed, or submitted in person to the newspaper office Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
