Scarecrows 'fall' into Altavista

The fourth annual Scarecrow Stroll is sponsored by Altavista On Track and for the first year is coordinating with the first annual Town-Wide Yard Sale, to be held Oct. 27. Voting for scarecrows will be held at the yard sale event. Ballots will be available at the AOT trade lot tent and Main Street gazebo located beside The General Store & Inn. AOT encourages residents and visitors to get out early and pick out their favorite. The people’s choice winner will receive a $150 cash prize.
