Scarecrow winner
Posted: Wednesday, October 31, 2012 5:30 am“Fishin’ on the Staunton,” created by Meghan and Jackie Bolling won the People’s Choice Award in Altavista On Track’s fourth annual Scarecrow Stroll. Voting took place Saturday during the Town-Wide Yard Sale. The Bollings, who live in Altavista, are pictured Monday receiving their $150 cash prize from Jo Kelley, Altavista On Track’s executive director. Thirty-one scarecrows entered this year’s contest. The Bollings also won last year’s Scarecrow Stroll.
