ACHS baseball wins district tourney opener
Dylan Caruso hit a tie-breaking two-run single in the sixth inning on Monday as Appomattox defeated William Campbell 6-5 in the first round of the Dogwood District Baseball Tournament at the Town Ballpark.

All students who will be trying out for an athletic team at Appomattox County High School or Appomattox Middle School are strongly encouraged to get their physical examination on May 30, 2009 at ACHS, starting at 9 a.m.
