Council examines town manager applicants
The Brookneal Town Manager Search Committee has finished interviewing four applicants selected from a pool of 20. The top three contenders were chosen during a Thursday night meeting and their names have been sent to town council to determine who will be selected to fill the vacant part-time town manager position.

Charlotte Co. schedules broadban authority public hearing on June 30
The Charlotte County Board of Supervisors voted to hold a public hearing on a resolution creating The Charlotte County Broadban Authority during the May 19 meeting. A public hearing is scheduled for June 30, 6 p.m., in the Charlotte Court House Administration Building.
