The Altavista Area YMCA and Altavista Arts Council will hold a public reception Sunday, Dec. 18, for Central Virginia artist Rodney Laughon, who is exhibiting work at the YMCA. The reception in the YMCA's athletic center will be held from 2-4 p.m. The public is invited to see his paintings, meet the artist and enjoy refreshments.
