After getting washed out on March 24th in what would have been the second PASS South Series race of 2012; the series returns to the South Boston (VA) Speedway this Saturday night for race six of the season schedule. Kyle Grissom coming off his win at the Concord (NC) Speedway in the series’ last outing will lead the field of drivers into the 4/10mile track in control of the championship standings. Grissom, lead by crew chief Greg Marlow, has already picked up two wins this season in his first year of super late model competition. The guy right on his heels is Winston-Salem, North Carolina driver Brandon Ward. Ward picked up his first career win at Wake County Speedway leading all 125 laps on his way to victory. He and his New Day Motorsports team are just ten points out of the top spot showcasing the model of consistency.
