Melissa Ann Smith
Melissa Anne “G” Smith, 18, of Wheeler’s Spring Rd., Pamplin, died Sunday, March 10, 2013. She was born in Lynchburg, VA on May 31, 1994. “G” was a member of Piney Ridge United Methodist Church, a student of Lynchburg College, and an employee of Tolley’s Market.
Melissa is survived by her loving parents Kelly Webber and Allen Barclay Smith; her brother, Jeremy Allen Smith all of Pamplin; grandmother, Nelwyn O’Brien Smith of Appomattox; aunts and uncles, Debbie and Jimmy Farmer, Sammy and Angie Webber all of Pamplin, and Blair Smith of Appomattox; step grandmother, Barbara Webber of Pamplin; cousins, Jody Farmer, James and Candace Farmer, Julie Farmer-Prue, Jason Farmer and Heather, Shana W. and Danny Gordon, and Samuel Webber; and her best friend, Cassie Nash of Pamplin. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Billy Allen and Kay C. Webber and James Allen (Jim) Smith.
The family received friends Tuesday, from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at Robinson Funeral Home and other times at the residence. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 13, 2013, in Piney Ridge United Methodist Church by the Rev. Robert (Monk) Green with burial following in the church cemetery.
